About Us

Press Release >>

We are a committed book club, which advocates creative ways of dealing with violence and violence prevention by using a Story form of writing and Dr. Porter’s life-long journey, which includes episodes of violence. We are advocates of a Nonviolent process of defusing and sharing creative alternatives to violent conflicts, arguments, fighting, shootings, and other destructive ways in which men and women deal with their anger.

The program services below are anchored in a Judeo-Christian ethic, which views all of human life as Sacred.

We employ lessons of Nonviolent warfare learned from Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Leo Tolstoy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., A.J. Muste, Dr. James Lawson, Dr. James Farmer, Reverend Bernard Lafayette, Dr. Joseph Lowery’s Institute on Nonviolence , Diane Nash-Bevel, the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change, the Peace Institute in Sweden, and other practitioners; these advocates seek to discover and harness every human being’s self-worth and self-esteem.
